Designer Shoma Akatsukigawa was born in China and has been based in Japan since 2002. A graduate of Tokyo Mode Gakuen, he trained as a pattern maker for prominent brands, presenting collections at Paris Fashion Week. In 2017, he became a freelance designer and launched his own brand, HEōS, in A/W 2021.
