Unisex brand SHOOP was launched in 2013 by designers Miriam Sanz and Yohei Oki. Madrid native Sanz previously worked as a buyer in the Spanish capital, while Japan born Oki moved to Madrid at age 15 to study art and graphic design. SHOOP made its Madrid Fashion Week debut in A/W 2018-19 and has presented collections at Tokyo Fashion Week from S/S 2021. In 2023, SHOOP shifted its base from Madrid to Tokyo.
